Nick Holt na A Arte do Blues

Nesta 3a-feira, 15 de março, apresentaremos Nick Holt, espetacular baixista da Banda de Magic Slum, The Tears Drops. Nick nasceu em Granada, Mississippi em 1940, e foi para Chicago em no final dos anos 50 formando a banda com o brother Magic Slim.

Tivemos o prazer imenso de ouvi-lo em S Carlos em 1998, tocando baixo: subiu sozinho no palco do SESC para abrir o show com 'As the years go passing by'.

Apresentaremos o cd de Nick Holt, You better watch yourself, lançado pelo selo Wolf Records de Viena, Austria. Participam Magic Slim, Eddie Shaw, John Primer, Earl Howell e Chris Sandera.
